Darrell Basham wouldn't score another top ten until 2003 at Kansas, a
track that wasn't even a concept at the time of this race. In fairness
to Darrell, he didn't compete in ARCA for almost the entire rest of the
80s and only very sparingly in the mid-late 90s, spending more time
driving trucks than racecars.
