Scott Stovall was in an Oldsmobile.

Vaughn Brune was in a Buick.

Ferrel Harris earned $5,350

The late Ferrel Harris picks up his lone ARCA victory on the series'
grandest stage as he bests reigning series champion Scott Stovall,
visiting road racer Elliott Forbes-Robinson, and future champion Bob
Brevak to claim the victory. Harris raced in ARCA from 1975 to 1991 but
only had three top-5s including this Daytona win.

This was Forbes-Robinson's only ARCA start and he came home second.
While best known for road racing he dabbled in stock cars during this era.

Young Darryl Sage, 17, made his ARCA debut in this race as a warmup to
making an attempt at the Daytona 500 later in Speedweeks. Unfortunately
his blown engine here was a sign of things to come as the Tennessee
short tracker would not make the field for the Cup race after a crash in
his 125 qualifier.
