He didn't lead until lap 7 despite being the polesitter. 6. VanderLaan passed away in 2019 and he was honored by the Berlin-based duo of driver Carson Hocevar and owner Mike Bursley as their #28 donned VanderLaan's late model paint scheme for Hocevar's final two ARCA starts of the year.
