Six cautions in the race. Last caution was for Bill Venturini spinning
in Turn 2. Strait led the first 18 laps,Lee Raymond passed him and led
until lap 25 when Strait retook the lead (Raymond spun out dealing with
lap cars). Venturini passed Strait on the 45th lap and led until he spun
out with 2 to go.
