Newspaper report says Roper won $5750, attendance was 9,000. Roper
passed Keselowski on lap 144 and led the final 56 laps. Race had two red
flags for incidents involving a broken guardrail.

John Buzinec, in a #28 Oldsmobile, was a DNS in 36th

Mike Fry was in a Chevrolet.
Jerry Churchill was in an Oldsmobile.
Ken Rowley was in a Dodge

Ron Cox DNQ'd in a #08 Mercury.

@4 - well, since DNS and DNQ are not the same thing, do you have any
evidence that Buzinec failed to qualify? Otherwise I see no reason to
change rm's report that he qualified and then was unable to start the race.

Randy Huffman had seven career top-5 finishes in ARCA racing but only in
1987 did he record more than one in the same season. He finished fifth
at Toledo earlier in the year and then bagged a fourth here on the
DuQuoin dirt later in the year.
