Salem Speedway, a longtime mainstay on the ARCA circuit, closed in the
mid-1970's and sat vacant for many years. This race marked the return of
the track to the ARCA schedule, and in fact was the "Grand Re-opening"
the track, being the first race overall held since the reopening. The
track has held at least 1 ARCA race every season since.

Check that, the track did not host an ARCA event in 1990 or 1991, but
since 1992 has held at least 1 race every year.

There were 6 DNQ's, including Morris Coffman, Ron Cox and Steve Butler!
I believe this was Butler's only ARCA attempt.

Keselowski won $3,600

Weinbroer did not start
