With his new cash flow he put together an effort for this race in just four days, buying a surplus NASCAR Winston Cup car from Hoss Ellington to race here. He turned in a very solid run, qualifying and finishing fourth to post his best ARCA result. In his three ARCA starts this was the only race he finished. 9.
