Adcox appeared to be in command after blowing by Raymond with a lap and a half to go. Then, Raymond came back on the last lap after a shrewd pass in turn 4, but got stuck behind the lapped car of Dave Weltmeyer and lost the drag race down the frontstretch. However, Raymond blamed nobody but himself, though he did call out the lapped drivers for not moving out of the way of the leaders when they were coming to the finish. Adcox was able to go high around Weltmeyer and LaDuke and take the checkers 3-wide with Raymond trailing the group. 8. rm posted: 12.26.2018 - 5:44 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Time of race/avg. speed: 2:27:09/126.601 mph 9. rm posted: 06.07.2020 - 4:55 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Couple more lap leaders: Raymond led 90 laps Jacks led 22 laps 10. rm posted: 08.24.2020 - 7:31 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Rest of the starting lineup: 11. Venturini's run in the Land Down Under was one to forget, as he crashed out there before coming back to finish third here. Churchill's Australian outing went better as he placed in the top-15 in Melbourne. Returning to the United States with a little extra Fosters Lager sponsorship after that run he qualified second and led a few laps early here en route to a top-10 finish. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
