Michigan short track legend, and chassis building icon, Ed Howe makes
his only known ARCA start to sub for Tracy Leslie and puts the #72
Pontiac on the pole. Howe led a good chunk of the race before a sway bar
broke and rubbed a front tire until it blew, leading to Howe pounding
the outside wall. Howe retired from driving less than a month after this
race.
