I was at this race, & I remember Brian Ross getting a lot of pre-race
attention piloting Ken Schrader's car. He had a great run going until
spinning out of the lead and crashing in the Tunnel Turn.

After blowing his engine early, Tracy Leslie drove in relief of Bob
Schacht. I don't know what lap during the race the driver chance took
place. Regardless, Schacht would still be credited with the 3rd place
finish.
