His first race ends in a wreck but he'd eventually rewrite the record book. 2. 23andJoe posted: 04.27.2014 - 7:58 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) #02 owner: Jack Wallace (same for all races this season) 3. 23andJoe posted: 05.13.2014 - 7:10 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Pole speed: 106.176mph Strait's winnings: $6,000 Dave Tomczak car owner: Dave Tomczak (same for all races this season) 4. 23andJoe posted: 05.15.2014 - 4:32 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Frank Kimmel started 21st. 5. Laps led: Leslie - 45; Bowsher - 8 Time of race: 0:48:11 There were 6 lead changes among 4 drivers Leslie passed Keselowski to take the lead on the very first lap and sliced through traffic with ease. Once Keselowski caught Leslie in clean air, he turned him around coming out of turn 4 and took the lead. Keselowski lost the lead on the restart to Strait, but just a couple laps later Leslie got too agressive while charging through the field and spun out with Taylor while trying to go 3 wide, ending his chances at the win for good. Strait made the winning pass on Bowsher and took the lead on lap 121. Strait restarted 4th after the late caution for the slow car of Kimmel wrecking hard but clearly had the best car of anyone on the track. Keselowski was the restart leader but was quickly passed by Bowsher. After just a couple laps, Strait passed Keselowski and Brevak in a gutsy 3-wide move and set his sights on Bowsher. With 2 to go, Brevak broke the driveshaft and rolled slowly around the track, desperately trying to finish the race. Brevak stopped on the track just shy of the finish line but it didn't impede Strait's progress at all. Strait, Bowsher, Keselowski and Leslie were the only laps leaders. Nobody else led laps. 10. rm posted: 07.08.2019 - 4:54 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Strait led 56 laps, which would mean Keselowski led 16 11.
