Was this a rainout reschedule, or did they deliberately run this the day
before they were scheduled to run at Springfield, IL?

The race marked ARCA's return to the Michigan International Speedway
after a decade-long absence. Fittingly this return would see one of the
Wolverine State's own talented stock car racers win the race as Tracy
Leslie, the pride of Mt. Clemens, bested everyone to put the #72
Oldsmobile in victory lane.

This would be Leslie's only victory of the season and his last in ARCA
for more than nine years. It was also his last win on a superspeedway in
the series.
