1992 ARCA championship by passing Ben Hess on the last lap.

Last of two wins for Bowsher at Springfield, this would be his largest
track that he won at in ARCA.

Bowsher won this race solely by being in the right place at the right
time. After what appeared to be a late race restart, Hess started to
pull away, only to run way high in turns 3 and 4 on the last lap.
Bowsher stuck on the bottom line and easily passed Hess, much to the
surprise of a giddy, mud-caked Bowsher in victory lane.

Dale Hirschfield brought in a ringer for this one as he handed the keys
to his #07 Engine Masters Chevrolet over to the "Tall Cool One" Bob
Pierce, a dirt track late model ace. Pierce's only ARCA start saw him
bring home his loaner in 15th place.
