He ran out of gas while leading coming into the tri-oval, allowing Mike Wallace to take the win. 3. 83andJoe posted: 02.28.2013 - 12:52 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Did Not Qualify: #41 Bubba Urban, Cox Racing Oldsmobile #13 Phillip Young, Lewallen Body Shop Pontiac #82 Steve Clark, Southern Imports Oldsmobile #54 Gregg Caver, Oklahoma Cty Relief Fund Chevrolet #61 Frog Hall, Frog's Import Salvage Pontiac #12 Rick Sheppardm Sheppard Motor Sales Oldsmobile 4. 83andJoe posted: 02.28.2013 - 12:53 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) *#12 Rick Sheppard 5. 83andJoe posted: 02.28.2013 - 4:54 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Brad Smith completed 3 laps. #06 status: Accident 6. 83andJoe posted: 02.28.2013 - 6:33 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) The #90 was sponsored for this race by Klaussner Furniture. 7. 83andJoe posted: 02.28.2013 - 7:46 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Pole speed: 196.013mph Leaders: Bob Schacht 1-19, Jeff Purvis 20-35, Mark Thompson 36-38, Mark Stahl 39-47, Thompson 48-56, Purvis 57-68, Joey Sonntag 69-71, Purvis 72-75, Mike Wallace 76, Purvis 77-103, Gary Bradberry 104-108, Harris DeVane 109-116, Wallace 117 Laps led corrections: Purvis 59, Thompson 12, Sonntag 3 Cautions: Lap 6-10: #06 accident turn 4 Lap 38-46: #91, #31, #19, #57, #15, #09, #7, #62, #5 accident turn 4 Lap 68-71: debris Lap 76-77: #07 spin backstretch #11 sponsor: Lane/Alps #90 sponsor: Klaussner Furniture #92 sponsor: NTN Bearings #2 crew chief: Donny Allison #52 crew chief: Tim Kohuth #66 crew chief: Mike Brandt 8. Also, after having re-checked the race recording, I made a small error in the lap leaders list. It should be: Purvis 57-67 (58 laps total led) Sonntag 68-71 (4 laps total led) The positioning of Talladega's start-finish line makes pit stop scoring...interesting, when somebody stays out. 10. What's anyone else think? 16. Seibaru posted: 04.21.2019 - 6:02 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Henry Wallace's crash broke his neck. This would've been his last race of the season regardless of his injuries as the money for his team had dried up. 20.
