Doug Kalitta's #7 here was an old Chrysler Lebaron, not a Chevrolet. 3. 00andJoe posted: 09.03.2011 - 6:34 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) #94 owner: Bill Elliott #66 owner: Mark Thompson #21 owner: Jack Bowsher #2 owner: Jack Bowsher #68 owner: Mark Thompson 4. The big box chain is based in Grand Rapids and a huge part of life in the Great Lakes state. 13. Maverick11 posted: 03.23.2016 - 9:35 pm Rate this comment: (0) (3) Really? Never even heard of it. RaceFanX posted: 01.27.2018 - 12:36 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) This was Doug Kalitta's ARCA debut, the former USAC Sprint Car champion dabbling in stock cars but ultimately going into drag racing where his family is most famous. His old Chrysler LeBaron though would last less than 10 laps before a mechanical problem put it on the sidelines. 21. rm posted: 06.24.2018 - 10:05 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Additional DNS: #79 of Donny Paul, he started 33rd. Jerry Hill started 34th. There was very brief mention of them during the starting lineup run down, it was said that they would be dropping out very very quickly but it appears that they should be listed as DNS cars as well. Now to complicate things even further: The broadcast lists the final results as Houseman 31st, Brad Smith 32nd, and Hill 33rd, presumably all DNS cars and doesn't list Paul in the results at all - just in the starting lineup. Not sure what to trust here, another example of murky-at-best ARCA record keeping. To the rear - 66 - backup car (Mark crashed in happy hour and used Joe Houseman's car as his new primary car, relegating Houseman to a DNS) Sponsors: 66 - Midway Island/Phoenix Air 22. He ran this race for the same Dean Monroe team he was dabbling in Winston Cup with at the time. They race the #46 in Cup but since Bob Hill and Frank Kimmel were both using that number in ARCA they reversed it to be #64 for this race instead. This was their only successful superspeedway race of the year as other than failed attempts at the Winston Open and the Brickyard 400 they mostly stuck to the Virginia short track races. 27.
