This resulted in a post race fight between Scott Neal and Jeff Lemons, Kimmel's crew chief. Kimmel's Pontiac was destroyed, after hitting the wall at the finish line on the frontstretch, the car continued around the track and hit the dirt embankment on the inside of the backstretch off Turn 2. 2. The guy loses the lead on the last lap, gets pissed off and intentionally wrecks the winner as they both come across the line, parks on the frontstrectch and gets out to celebrate (even though he HAD to have known he lost), THEN starts the big fight by walking over and started running his mouth at Kimmel's crew, knowing full well what was gonna happen when he did. Glad this guy isn't around anymore. What a douche. He must've retired in shame, if he wasn't fired. 5. "Sorry about your damn luck" 6. Dave in Indy posted: 01.14.2011 - 2:35 pm Rate this comment: (2) (0) Actually Anonymous - Neal won in 1995 @ Salem. Racing Reference's ARCA info only goes back to 1996. As for post #4, Neal did not lose the lead on the last lap, he got dumped by Kimmel and Scott was simply returning ythe favor (times 100). 7. RaceFanX posted: 03.12.2011 - 11:26 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Kimmel almost rolled over when his demolished #46 hit the embankment after the race. Fellow racer Bob Schacht pulled over on the cool down lap to try and help Kimmel but thankfully Frank was uninjured, albeit very angry, after the crash. Despite being local the fans booed Neal when he tried to celebrate what he thought was his first ARCA win. Supposed Neal still races at Winchester on a local level. Some missing data: Don LaDuke was in his normal #55 Blaise Alexander had his #26 Bob Schacht had his standard #75 Roger Blackstock had his normal Kraken Bar #12 Dodge Avenger 8. Again, this would *not* have been Neal's first win. He won at Salem in September 1994. 10. Steve posted: 12.22.2012 - 3:41 pm Rate this comment: (2) (0) Neal didn't get dumped. He and Frank no doubt touched, but it wasn't anything beyond typical side by side short track contact. At the checkers Neal hooked fenders with Kimmel to wreck him (like Dale hooked DW at Richmond in '86), and though Kimmel clearly won the race Neal arrogantly started celebrating as if he won. The guy proved himself to be a sore loser, and that's why hardly anyone knows who Scott Neal is. 11. He got into a fight with officials after the race in the infield but then got his ass kicked but good after then Kimmmel crew cheif Jeff Lemons got ahold of him. He was never seen again at an ARCA event after that day. 12. 83andJoe posted: 06.27.2013 - 11:00 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Norm Benning drove the #84. 13. 83andJoe posted: 10.18.2013 - 10:50 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Tim Steele started 1st. 14.
