Track distance - .375 miles

Why all the overheating DNFs? It wouldn't be out of place at a dirt
mile, or even a plate race, but at a bullring short track? Well, the
temperature was in the 80s that day and the humidity was even higher.
Add in dusty track conditions and poor cleanup by the track crew after a
very early crash left fluid on the track, and you've got a recipe for
half of the field running hot. Pretty much every driver from 10th on
back had engine issues.

Both of the DNQs listed here were actually did not starts

Jimmy Smith started 20th and finished 28th.
David A. Green started 28th and finished 29th.
