Coming to the final restart, only Ken Schrader and Eric Smith were on
the lead lap. The field got ready to get the one to go, but Smith's car
had stopped in turn 4 under yellow. Smith, who had fresher tires than
Schrader, lost his chance to go for the win. Smith had two career wins
to this point, but he never found victory #3.

The three DNQs here were actually did not starts.

Jimmy Smith started 28th and finished 30th.

Curt Dickie started 30th and finished 31st.

David A. Green started 31st and finished 32nd.
