This was Steele's fifth win in a row at Pocono and the steak would only end the following year when he moved up to the NASCAR Truck series and didn't enter either ARCA race at the track in 1999. 6. DNQ: Steve Bramley Steele's seventh win at Pocono and fourth from the pole position. Steele was the man at the Tricky Triangle through and through. As of the finish of this race, Steele had led 525 of 960 possible laps in the Pocono races he started, over 50%. 9. RaceFanX posted: 03.26.2021 - 6:52 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Tim Steele initially hoped to run the Cup race this weekend as the building success of his ARCA comeback had he and Bud Moore trying to put together a deal to run some races at that level in 1998 starting with this weekend. Sadly that deal ultimately fell apart and Steele would have to stay in the ARCA ranks but at least he got this victory to tid over that disappointment. 11.
