This would be Petty's only higher-level Superspeedway victory in a career cut much too short. 2. That opened the door for an excellent battle to the finish between Petty and Wallace, which could've been closer had Rob Morgan not washed up in front of Wallace in turn 1 on the final lap. Wallace still got to Petty's quarter panel at the line but it wasn't enough. 11. 1995z71 posted: 08.06.2019 - 2:21 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) This was NOT John Paul Linville's ARCA debut. 12. rm posted: 09.01.2019 - 7:03 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) It actually was Linville's ARCA debut, technically. In the 1985 Busch/ARCA combo race from IRP that currently shows up in his results, he was one of the drivers declaring for Busch points and didn't receive any credit for an ARCA start in their record books, up until this race 13 years later. That has been pointed out in the comments of that race - only 7 starters in the field were actually credited with an ARCA start, while all starters were credited with a Busch start - but that hasn't been updated accordingly to match how most combination races on here are recorded. 13. Richard Petty I think indicated that Adam won this race with a car built in 1993, the body appeared to be an updated Pontiac Grand Prix. 15.
