Frank Kimmel drives to victory as the ARCA makes its return to Berlin
Raceway for the first time since 1986. Berlin has been a consistent
staple on the ARCA schedule in the years since.

Ron Cox drove a Chevy Lumina to a top-10 in the cars last year of
eligibility.

That's pretty impressive, considering that would've been a very old car
by that time.

If there was ever someone who could drive a very, very outdated car to a
finish way better than it should have been at a track that relies
heavily on a driver's skill to race conservatively, it would be Ron Cox.

On a less positive note, three of the top eight finishers in this race
would pass away in accidents within five years of this race. Scott Baker
died in a crash during a race at Toledo, while Curt Piercy and Cavin
Councilor both died in (separate) plane crashes. Unfortunately,
30th-place finisher James Hylton joined that group in 2018 when he was
killed in a highway accident.
