Only ARCA race at Flemington Speedway and the last major touring event
held there before the track's 2002 closure and 2005 demolition. The
property is now occupied by a Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse.

This race was postponed a day due to a severe thunderstorm and as such
was only witnessed by a small crowd.

Flemington was awesome as a dirt track, but they kinda got confused on
what to bring there for the asphalt. If you didn't have that much
horsepower on this track it wasn't that great.

It's a shame, if you go through the town of Flemington, aside from a
sign about 1.5 miles before where the track once stood that says
"Speedway Plaza" you would have no idea the track was even there.

Frank Kimmel wins his third and final race of 1999. It was his second
short track victory of the year.

New Jersey racer Jack Helget's only attempt to race in ARCA ends
unsuccessful with a DNQ.

The 1999 TV schedule listed this race as "TBA" so I don't think so. It
would be the only race from 1999 not televised in some fashion. It was a
late addition to the schedule, I found articles stating it was only
added in April.

Race name - Summit Banks 150

Qualifying was rained out, so they lined up by points.

Baird & Kimmel have their total laps led switched, Baird led 93 total
while Kimmel led 57 total.

Chuck Weber acted as his own gasman for this race. And he only finished
five laps down in the process!

That's kind of awesome. Gives me Earnhardt-cleaning-his-windshield
vibes. Don't think we'd ever see anything like that today!

I totally forgot this race happened despite living roughly an hour from
the track. And @2 it was a sad day when it was torn down and seeing
writing on the wall when it comes to Raceway Park in Englishtown
