It was a good thing too given how the 50-year-old Baird ended up taken out in one of the day's many crashes. Tim Steele and many of the Ford teams ran outdated Thunderbirds in this race. 20. Harvick ran a Truck race at Texas Motor Speedway the night before this race and flew in to be a part of it. He had to start at the back after Mike Dillon qualified his car but stormed ahead to finish on the podium. 21.
