Kimmel's team aquired some ex-Roush Racing Fords for the 2001 season and
alternated them wiith their older Chevrolets throughout 2001 before
switching to Ford full-time in 2002. It's been a winning combination and
since the start of 2002 apart from one race in a Dodge at Daytona to
start 2008 he's been in Fords ever since.

ARCA runs the first-ever race at the Nashville Superspeedway, 2001 was
the year the new track opened and this was not only the series' first
visit but the track's first major race.

Shawna Robinson also scores her final ARCA top-5 and top-10 in third.
Robinson ran a full-season in 2000 but had bigger plans to run in Cup
and Busch for 2001 and left ARCA after this race (minus a two-race
return in 2003), likely to focus on those.
