I'm amazed looking back at it that ARCA raced this weekend when NASCAR
and other sports organizations were shuttered. Although after the week
the USA had, and race fans getting hit with a more individual tragedy
when Alex Zanardi lost his legs in a crash at a CART race in Germany
earlier this weekend, a good stock car race is something they needed at
the time.

Andy Belmont's team gave his #1 America Online Ford a suitably American
flag-themed version of his normal paint scheme for this race. Belmont
ran great, leading a good chunk of the race and finishing second to post
his best finish of the season.
