This was Morgan-McClure Motorsports' last major victory. Kasey Kahne's lone ARCA race Eric Martin's last ARCA result before his death was a DNQ for this race. 2. 1995z71 posted: 01.02.2012 - 11:51 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) I work at Sonnys & his picture is hanging up there, Autographed from Daytona. He'd have to wait until 2001 to make another ARCA start (he DNQed at Talladega later in the year and Daytona in 1990 in the interim). 5. Segars ran ARCA in the 1980s, took 12 years off, and had a relatively successful comeback in the early 2000s. 6. Gordon had been t-boned just in front of the driver's-side door by Johnny Borneman III in a vicious accident, resulting in in the laundry list of left leg-related fractures noted above. Famous surgeon Dr. James Andrews, best-known for his work on baseball players, oversaw the recovery of a fellow Alabama native in Gordon. Gordon finished well in her return race by placing 12th in what was ultimately her final ARCA race before moving up to the Truck ranks for 2003, a leap that did not go particularly well. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
