Their Dodge proved to be slower than she expected though and that led to major arguments with the team that ultimately led to them parting ways, permanently, after she'd already qualified it. Things took a soap opera turn however when the team recruited Chad Blount to replace Renshaw in the car because at the time Blount was her boyfriend, likely ending the relationship. The car itself, a silver Dodge Intrepid that was in all certainty an ex-Sterling Marlin Coors Light NASCAR Cup car, proved pretty stout in Blount's hands as he brought it home with a top-10 finish. Blount's outing was a one off but the team went on to win six races in 2004 once Ryan Hemphill took over the #64. NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour racer Nevin George comes south but DNQs in his lone ARCA attempt. He'd get to run a few NASCAR Busch North/East races in the near future though. 15. What was the reason? 18. Steven posted: 03.03.2021 - 7:21 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) David Ragan's No. 2 was a Pontiac, not a Ford. The Sadler Brothers bought out Wayne Hixson's car and put Burger King decals on it after failing to qualify the No. 95. Picture from the race - you can see from the shape of the spoiler and the rear window that it's a Pontiac: https://i.imgur.com/vaPuVXJ.png ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
