No, this isn't like those races a couple years ago where Cole Custer used the Peterson owner's points - this was a Peterson prepped car. 6. rm posted: 04.14.2017 - 3:32 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) First caution - laps 7-11 - 1, 19 accident turn 4 Second caution - laps 20-24 - 2, 23 accident backstretch Third caution - laps 30-33 - 84 accident turn 2 Fourth caution - laps 41-47 - 23 debris backstretch Fifth caution - laps 50-56 - 23, 78 accident backstretch (Not a great day for the 23 team.) The series will finally return to the North Carolina superspeedway in May 2018. 13. Ultimate Warrior #18 posted: 05.21.2018 - 8:36 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Most Recent ARCA race at Charlotte won by former Ganassi development driver Ryan Hemphill And the race was dominated by Teenager Reed Sorenson peep who Brad Keselowski is driving for in this race. Crazy to think 14 years later Hemphill pretty much disappeared off the racing scene Reed's career was semi ok now he's driving backmarker cars. And Brad is a Xfinity and Cup Champion. 14. Scott B posted: 05.21.2018 - 12:28 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) This race also had a young David Ragan driving for a small team before he hooked up with Roush, while Hendrick had Blake Feese as their development driver. With all the scouting that goes on, there are still a lot of cases where it's not the driver that was getting the attention early on that goes on to have a long career in Cup. 15. Surprisingly though this would be the first of just two ARCA starts, and three entries, for Hobgood. 18. rm posted: 05.25.2018 - 1:14 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Easiest explanation is sponsorship and it had trouble fitting into a packed track schedule. 19. A young David Ragan ran this race hours after graduating from nearby JM Robinson High School. 21. rm posted: 02.03.2020 - 9:13 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) 0 owner - Wayne Peterson 6 owner - Dusty Whitney 7 owner - Mark Vieau 8 owner - Mario Gosselin 39 owner - Bob Schacht Not sure who fielded Mart Nesbitt's car, I couldn't find any other info on his lone ARCA attempt and I couldn't find anything more than a passing mention of him on the broadcast...but I do feel pretty confident in saying that Wayne Peterson probably didn't supply anything besides some number decals (if that!) 22. rm posted: 03.08.2020 - 4:20 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) 6 owner - Dusty Whitney 5 crew chief - Bobby Gerhart 44 crew chief - Lee Leslie 46 crew chief - Bill Kimmel Jr. 50 crew chief - Mike Hillman 64 crew chief - Greg Tester 77 crew chief - Matt Chambers 91 crew chief - Bob Schacht 6 sponsor - Catylist 17 sponsor - ECC 21 sponsor - GFS Marketplace 23 sponsor - SERVPRO/Volunteer Trucking 25 sponsor - Lumber Liquidators/Skipper's 26 sponsor - Koolmat 28 sponsor - Buckley Racing 39 sponsor - Mound Steel & Supplies 62 sponsor - Bullet Motorsports 23. Brent Sherman in the #44 somehow finished the race without most of the passenger side as the right rear exploded after the incident with Christi Passmore that a bunch of people spun trying to avoid. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
