Then David Ragan gives the bump and run to Frank Kimmel on the last lap, which allows Billy Venturini to slip past both of them. However, as they round the final turn a caution comes out which sets the field up for a GWC and revertis the lineup back to Kimmel, Ragan, Venturini. Ragan then gets a run off of turn 4 but it is too late as Kimmel holds on by half a car length to take the win. 7. ol hank posted: 01.04.2018 - 2:54 pm Rate this comment: (1) (1) Frank Kinmel had some not so kind words for David Ragan in his postrace interview after this one 8. rm posted: 04.04.2018 - 1:13 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) First caution - laps 8-16 - 11, 96 spun turn 3 (the 4 spun out the 34 in turn 2 under caution) Second caution - laps 22-25 - 4, 94 spun turn 2 (taking out both Basham cars in the first 20 laps - nice! I'm sure DBR was just thrilled) Third caution - laps 40-42 - 4 accident turn 2 Fourth caution - laps 50-59 - 0, 08, 4, 7, 62 accident turn 2 Fifth caution - laps 67-71 - 26, 38, 64, 94 accident frontstretch Sixth caution - laps 92-95 - 78 accident turn 3 Seventh caution - laps 96-99 - debris backstretch Eighth caution - laps 107-111 - 64 spun turn 4 Ninth caution - laps 113-115 - 30, 96 spun turn 4 Tenth caution - laps 128-130 - 3 slow turns 3/4 Eleventh caution - laps 138-144 - 1 spun backstretch Twelfth caution - laps 148-152 - 3, 4, 20, 96 accident turn 2 (fifth time's the charm for the 4 car...though admittedly in this one he was a victim of being hit from behind by the 20) Thirteenth caution - laps 160-163 - 44 accident turn 3 Fourteenth caution - laps 170-173 - 2, 45 accident turn 1 Fifteenth caution - laps 184-188 - 10 on fire pit road Sixteenth caution - laps 193-197 - 29, 90 accident turn 1 Seventeenth caution - laps 200-204 - ??? (best guess is for the 46 and 90 trying to wreck each other in turn 3, but tv never specified what exactly the caution was called for) 0 sponsor - Reid's 34 sponsor - Wilmoth Photography 62 sponsor - Premier Motorsports In classic Billy Venturini fashion, he accused ARCA and Frank Kimmel of conspiring against him in a post race interview. 9. The lap 96 caution was for the 78's accident in turn 3. There was never any debris on the backstretch. There was a caution from laps 132-136 for the 5 spinning in turn 4. The caution for the 1's spin came out on lap 139, not lap 138. The final caution was for the #21 having an accident. 21 status ? radiator (Pulled into the pits coming to the last green flag and did not finish, according to the Bowsher & Associates post-race press release; he was one of several drivers that crashed to set up the GWC but it was never explicitly mentioned on TV what happened or who the other drivers involved were.) 0 sponsor ?
