Normally the script says he will be hired by a team in NASCAR's top divisions. Not this time. 3. Has been searching for it since I've first saw there was someone from my country in high-level stock car racing. Even if that "high-level" is just ARCA. Has a real random winner too. Commentators said Bryan was driving an ex-Ganassi car, which makes good sense seeing they were really strong in 2004. 7. rm posted: 04.05.2018 - 6:18 pm Rate this comment: (4) (0) First caution - laps 8-12 - 45 spun turn 2 Second caution - laps 30-35 - 11, 48 accident backstretch Third caution - laps 45-47 - 4 slow backstretch Fourth caution - laps 56-65 - 94 spun backstretch (caution extended to pick up debris in turns 1/2) Fifth caution - laps 68-70 - 46 stopped turn 1 (Kimmel cut a tire, stopped on the track, and drew a penalty for intentionally causing a yellow) Sixth caution - laps 103-107 - 13 accident backstretch Seventh caution - laps 116-123 - 5, 75 accident turn 2 (a bizarre incident that saw both cars swerving on the apron, with Gerhart giving Makai a big shove towards the wall that ended with a hard hit and DNF for the 75) Eighth caution - laps 127-131 - 7 accident backstretch (a spirited battle between Krisiloff and Steve Wallace ended with Wallace running Krisiloff into the wall and Krisiloff's car on fire in turn 3. Krisiloff had the wind knocked out of him and had trouble getting out of his burning car. Caution was extended for the 88 turning around in turn 1 to come down pit road backwards...) Ninth caution - laps 132-136 - 14, 21, 59 accident frontstretch (big stackup coming to the restart) To the rear - 7 - failure to maintain pace; 2, 4, 39 - pitting before the green Lap leaders - Miller - 1-31 25 sponsor - CMS/WHIR.com 65 sponsor - High Tech Construction This might be one of the craziest finishes to a race I've ever seen. Coming to the GWC, leader Dawayne Bryan sputters with low fuel pressure and slows tremendously just after passing the start-finish line. Billy Venturini and Joey Miller fly by to assume the front two positions but as Davin Scites tries to pass Bryan for third, they make contact and Scites miraculously hangs on to his car despite slipping around wildly and falling back to 7th. Venturini fails to make his run stick and runs way up the track in turn 2 with a cut tire, falling out of the top 5 mere seconds after assuming the lead. Bryan regains his speed and makes a charge at Miller down the backstretch with David Ragan in hot pursuit. Bryan squeezes below Miller in turn 3, nearly on the apron, and takes back the lead - and the white flag - while forcing Miller up towards the outside wall. Ragan comes back and drives it way deep into turn 1 on the final lap, setting himself up for a great run down the backstretch. Ragan manages to pull to the outside of Bryan in turn 3 but ultimately has to back out of it, allowing Bryan to pick up the win. The lead changed 3 times on the penultimate lap, but you wouldn't know that just by looking at the record book! 8. Debutant Patrick Sheltra's fortunes would improve over the next few years though. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
