His 11th-place run here was his best in the series. 3. RaceFanX posted: 12.16.2017 - 9:58 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Michael Simko's third-place finish was his best in ARCA competition. He'd match it later. 4. rm posted: 04.09.2018 - 5:11 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) 01 owner - Robert Locke 67 owner - Andy Belmont (Dean was going to try to run a separate operation from Belmont but after this DNQ the partnership, as well as Dean's ARCA racing career, was over) WD: 39 - ??? - Roulo Brothers Racing - Roulo Brothers - Chevrolet (Apparently, they had the car at the track, getting ready to qualify, but never wound up calling a driver to race. Not sure if you can DNQ with no driver, as that's what ARCA lists them as, but that's the story) 43 - Scotty Sands - Eiklor Flames - Bobby Sands - Ford 5. rm posted: 11.26.2019 - 2:32 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Dug up a race preview article that has some more info on this race: 4 sponsor - Hantz Group 67 sponsor - Dean Transport/Belmont Media (DNQ) 06 owner - Ricky Gonzalez (DNQ; same for the following race's Talladega DNQ. His venture into team ownership never really panned out, I think he wound up taking that Chevy over to Mike Harmon's team after 2005) 6 owner - Clay Greenfield (DNQ; same at Chicagoland and Talladega. Car was a Chevy here and for those races as well, not a Pontiac) 75 owner - Lee Leslie (running as a team car to the great Tim Steele, though the inexperienced Langhorne ran far better all weekend than Steele did) The driver of the withdrawn #39 was Jeremy Petty, with sponsorship from CNC Construction Additional WD: David Ray Boggs - 16 - Boggs Racing - David Ray Boggs - Chevrolet DC: Jason Hedlesky - 08 - Hardcore Motorsports - Bill Wells - Chevrolet 6. He led 36 laps, a career-high total in ARCA, and finished second to match his career best finish in this series. 7. Coincidentally Weaver's other second-place finish also came when placed runner-up to Miller at Nashville earlier in the season. Miller won four ARCA races in 2005 during his lone full-season campaign in the series before making an unsuccessful move up to the NASCAR Truck Series with Darrell Waltrip's factory-backed Toyota team in 2006. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
