Will Langhorne makes his fourth and final ARCA start doing a one-off in
Bob Schacht's #75 Ford. His 11th-place run here was his best in the series.

Michael Simko's third-place finish was his best in ARCA competition.

operation from Belmont but after this DNQ the partnership, as well as
Dean's ARCA racing career, was over)

WD:

(Apparently, they had the car at the track, getting ready to qualify,
but never wound up calling a driver to race. Not sure if you can DNQ
with no driver, as that's what ARCA lists them as, but that's the story)

Dug up a race preview article that has some more info on this race:

4 sponsor - Hantz Group
67 sponsor - Dean Transport/Belmont Media (DNQ)

06 owner - Ricky Gonzalez (DNQ; same for the following race's Talladega
DNQ. His venture into team ownership never really panned out, I think he
wound up taking that Chevy over to Mike Harmon's team after 2005)
6 owner - Clay Greenfield (DNQ; same at Chicagoland and Talladega. Car
was a Chevy here and for those races as well, not a Pontiac)
75 owner - Lee Leslie (running as a team car to the great Tim Steele,
though the inexperienced Langhorne ran far better all weekend than
Steele did)

The driver of the withdrawn #39 was Jeremy Petty, with sponsorship from
CNC Construction

Ken Weaver had a great day. He led 36 laps, a career-high total in ARCA,
and finished second to match his career best finish in this series.

Joey Miller holds off Ken Weaver at the end to score his fifth and final
ARCA victory. Coincidentally Weaver's other second-place finish also
came when placed runner-up to Miller at Nashville earlier in the season.
Miller won four ARCA races in 2005 during his lone full-season campaign
in the series before making an unsuccessful move up to the NASCAR Truck
Series with Darrell Waltrip's factory-backed Toyota team in 2006.
