The only other ARCA start Leis would ever make - at least as of now, anyway, seeing as he's still only in his 30s and is a late model regular in the upper midwest to this day - would come in the fall event at Salem the same year where he crashed out. It was quite a day for the local guys and some unsung drivers. Bozell, despite the strong pedigree, was an unexpected winner.
