This was Erin Crocker's third and final ARCA runner-up finish. She never
did break through for that first win. Given her talent, as she was a
winner in World of Outlaws, and the quality of equipment it's actually a
bit surprising she didn't win in this series.

Darnell's victory was also the first in ARCA competition for Jack Roush
as a car owner...although many Roush-built Cup series castoff cars had
won races in this series earlier in the hands of other teams (I seem to
recall Frank Kimmel's early Fords being ex-Mark Martin machinery).

Josh Allison pulled double duty on this evening, also running the
ARCA/Lincoln Welders Truck Series race on the infield quarter mile as
part of the undercard proceedings. Allison unfortunately didn't fare
particularly well in either event, finishing 18th in the ALWTS race due
to brake failure and then capping off the night with a 20th-place run in
the main ARCA show.
