RaceFanX posted: 03.31.2018 - 10:47 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) Ontario racer Peter Shepherd, a former CASCAR racer, picked up a one-off ride for this one with Roush Fenway Racing and was the fastest car in practice for this race. Unfortunately Shepherd was out of this one before it began as he spun the white #99 Ford off Turn 2 in qualifying, backed it in the wall, and ended up missing the field since he did not post a qualifying time. The wall was damaged in the crash and needed a half hour of repairs before it could begin again. Those would be the last laps she led in ARCA competition but she did still bring the #98 Dodge home with a top-5 finish. 12.
