Clements was done for the day, weeks after a Nashville victory. Petty hung on for a few more laps before exiting the race after his involvement in the Dexter Bean accident. Annett had blown a right front tire but rebounded to finish 6th. Laps later, Brian Keselowski also blew a right front but wasn't nearly as lucky as he hit the wall and brought out a caution. Brian still managed to finish 18th, just one lap off the pace. Two of the three women in the race, Gabi Dicarlo and Erin Crocker, were involved in a lap 35 incident that resulted in significant damage to both ends of Crocker's racecar. Both managed to pull off top 20 finishes, but a third car in the accident, Canadian driver Ryan Fischer, wound up in an already-mentioned flip on the backstretch ending his ARCA debut. Fischer's car rode up on the wall similar to the late Bobby Hamilton or Rick Crawford's GWC Gateway crashes from the truck race a few years prior. However Fischer proceeded to barrel roll, which is something neither truck did. 8. Sam posted: 08.08.2016 - 12:11 pm Rate this comment: (4) (0) Bryan Clauson's Only ARCA win R.I.P 9. Even being generous and adding a lap per caution still would be short of the reported 41 caution laps. Driver change - Wayne Peterson was originally in the 0 car. 12. I believe this would have been Carter's first top ten and one of just four for his outfit overall. 15. He ran part-time on the tour in 2007. He'd run the Talladega race in October and a number of NASCAR Nationwide Series races to close out the year. 16. He'd do two more races in Roger Carter's #48 Dodge later in the season but both resulted in DNFs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
