This was his first win in the series on pavement (his prior one in 2006 was on the dirt at Springfield) and his only one of the 2007 season. 9. ARCA rules allowed outdated models to race for four years before they had to be retired. 12. RaceFanX posted: 06.16.2020 - 9:47 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) A late-race caution set up turned this race into a de facto four-lap trophy dash as Justin Allgaier, driving a plain red #16 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS for his family team, found himself looking in the rearview mirror at ARCA's two championship contenders, Frank Kimmel and Michael McDowell. When the green flag dropped so did the hammer as Allgaier pulled away from Kimmel to take the victory. This was the last of five races for Brian Keselowski in Bobby Gerhart's Lucas Oil #5 and by far his best outing in the car. Keselowski turned in a memorable performance as he put the #5 Dodge Intrepid on the pole and dominated the first half of this race. Unfortunately a flat tire just after losing the lead to Allgaier caused a crash that put him out of the race. Brian was seeing his third win of the season but it was not to be. Justin South win the Hoosier Tire Hard Charger Award for raing up through the field from 22nd to finish 10th. This turned out to be his final top-10 finish in ARCA competition. Dominick Casola and the #1 Andy Belmont team brought out a Ford they'd nicknamed "Odie" for this race. "Odie" was the team's dirt track car but Casola still brought it home 15th on the pavement. Bryan Silas had electrical issues early that saw his #11 in and out of the garage. He had a top-10 at Salem earlier in the season but the issues meant he would not repeat the feat. 15. rm posted: 09.17.2020 - 4:02 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) 16 sponsor - Schluckebier Farms Inc./USAF 21 sponsor - Bowsher & Associates Fan Car 62 sponsor - Fast Track High Performance Driving School 67 sponsor - Pioneer Mechanical Contractors 79 sponsor - Karl's Plumbing/Y&Y Auto Shop 25 owner - Eddie Sharp 48 owner - Roger Carter Like 99% sure the 67 was a Roger Carter car but can't figure out exactly how Dick Bahre fit into this and thus cannot be certain on this. The Jeff Williams that attempted this race for Lafferty was a different Jeff Williams than the one who ran a single Pro Cup race.
