Both Jake Francis in the 62, and Mike Koch in the 79 attempted to make the race, but unfortunately neither were able to qualify. The last time a Pontiac would actually participate in an ARCA race was the previous week's Talladega race, driven by Marc Mitchell. 11. It was Kimmel's eighth consecutive ARCA title. 14. It has often resulted in some really poor seasons putting drivers in good points positions. For example, in 2007, Gabe DiCarlo finished 11th in the final standings, despite having 0 top-10 finishes all year. However, 12 race winners finished below 11th in the points. 15. After further research, Rabenold replaced Venturini in the car after he failed to qualify in his own No. 7. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
