Why couldnt of this race been televised? I guess SPEED would rather show Busch series practice that no one is watching anyways.... 6. He does have a pole and two top tens in 22 Truck starts, and finished 5th in the ARCA standings in 2007 driving for Robby Benton, owner of the #09 RAB Racing car in Nationwide. Robb Brent finished a career-high 2nd driving a car owned by Mike Allgaier, Justin's father. Blake Koch finished 3rd in his ARCA debut, driving for Eddie Sharp. He finished 8th in the NASCAR West Series last season and finished 17th at Memphis in his first career Nationwide start in the #81 MacDonald car. 4 of Steve Arpin's 5 career top fives in 23 starts are 5th place finishes, including this race. Arpin and Brent are tied for the lead in the standings. Tim George Jr. got his 3rd career top ten in his 25th career start driving for RCR. 51-year-old Tim Cowen finished 9th. Patrick Sheltra finished 10th, the only driver other than Arpin to finish in the top 10 in the first 2 races of the season, and is 3rd in the standings. Alli Owens finished 17th, tying her best road course finish (Millville 2009) in 3 starts. Polesitter Casey Roderick led 21 laps but finished 21st. 7. They only do Daytona, Talladega, Pocono, Nashville, Kentucky, Ohio, and the finale. 8. A lot of the small teams S&P{ed though do to the cost of running rain tires. 10. the Great Dave posted: 09.03.2012 - 12:19 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Second of two starts for Spencer Maggard, who is related to Brack maggard. Danish Pie posted: 01.16.2019 - 12:01 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I would guess that he pulled into the garage after lap one, and then came out whenever there was a caution to click off some laps, which has been done by extremely small ARCA teams over the years. There was probably a caution with two to go, so Smith probably just went around putt-putting and trying to stay on track for the last two laps. 22. Steve Arpin is the answer to the trivia question of which ARCA driver first ran rain tires in a race. Casey Roderick went off course in the rain while leading, breaking an axle and ending his day. He had been dealing with the car sticking in 2nd gear and his offroad excursion completely blew 3rd gear as well. 24. rm posted: 10.21.2019 - 3:30 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) First caution - laps 6-7 - ??? Second caution - laps 21-24 - rain Third caution - laps 68-70 - rain To the rear - 6, 60 - late to tech Brad Smith ran the first 10 laps before parking the car - the same one he used at Daytona - due to rain inexperience. Curiously he came back out to run the final three laps under caution in the midst of a torrential downpour. 25. rm posted: 07.23.2020 - 4:14 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Some updates based on observations: 02 owner - Theresa Williams 17 owner - Andy Belmont 48 owner - Andy Belmont (Belmont car, Belmont & Hylton mixed crew) 02 sponsor - Josh Williams Motorsports 06 sponsor - Four Seasons 17 sponsor - Industrial Depot 18 sponsor - Fast Track High Performance Driving School 48 sponsor - Industrial Depot/Radon 68 sponsor - Ansell/Menards 44 crew chief - Bill Kimmel Jr. 48 crew chief - James Hylton Jr. Additional to the rear - 55 - engine change WD: Bob Schacht, #75 Chevrolet ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
