But you need air in the tires to succeed and unfortunately, the air in his tire escaped. 4. 00andJoe posted: 06.05.2011 - 12:10 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I see the 63 skipped this race? 5. potatosalad48 posted: 06.05.2011 - 7:50 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) A cut tire takes away a sure win for Hackenbracht. Ty Dillon wins again for his grandpa's team. Nothing new. 6. jamie88fan posted: 06.06.2011 - 9:33 am Rate this comment: (0) (6) Once again arca lets a team that never seems to make a lap come to race with them that is a waste of space and the team should be banded from arca they are a joke I bet he made maybe one lap if even that in pratice arca dosnt care its not the car count they should worried about its the quality of the field ... LOL Anyways, Ty Dillon gets his 5th career ARCA win in just 9 starts, and 3rd win in 6 races in 2011. Chris Buescher got his 2nd runner-up finish of the season and 4th top 5. 2 time defending WoO Late Model champ and current points leader Josh Richards, to prep himself for his ride with KBM in the Trucks, drove for Venturini Motorsports in this race and earned his 1st career ARCA pole in 7 series starts; he tied his best career finish in 3rd, his 2nd top 5 (DuQuoin in 2007 in his 1st series start). Chad McCumbee gets his 2nd straight top 5 finish and 5th top 10 this season for Andy Belmont Racing. After winning in his first career ARCA start at the NJMP road course, Andrew Ranger finishes 5th in his first ARCA start on an oval. It's his first top 5 on an oval since a 5th at Martinsville in the East Series in 2010. Brent Bevak earned his best career finish and 1st top 10 in 9th in his 7th series start (since 2009). Quebec native Maryeve Dufault also got her first top 10 in ARCA in 10th. 8. No? Didn't think so... As far as I can tell, the #06 and #66 were "roll the backup car off the truck" entries to fill up the field. I'm curious as to what happened to Milka Duno and the Sheltra team, myself. 10. Tough break, especially as it was under caution. Chad Hackenbracht then made his way to the lead and had lapped inside the top ten and had a 9 second lead when he cut a right front tire. Hard to tell if it was a "random" puncture or if the young speedster was pushing his 40+ lap tires way too hard. Hackenbracht stopped his car at the entrance to pit road where a track safety worker was waiting with a fire extinguisher to use on the smoking #58 car. It ignited after 20 seconds but the car was alight for 15 more seconds until the worker finally used the fire extinguisher... Ken Schrader was in the booth with Bob Dilliner for this race and kept going on about the depth of the young talent in this field. Turns out only the top two finishers in this race wound up in full-time Cup rides. Or so far, anyway, I'll still hold out hope for Grant Enfinger getting a shot someday. 15. This was his first true oval superspeedway race and he finished on the lead lap. His car was fittingly a Petty Blue and STP Red Dodge Charger harkening back to the King's famous ride. Oddly the #96 decals though looked like they were surplus from the Hall of Fame Racing Cup team. Maryeve Dufault's tenth-place run would be her only top-10 finish in ARCA competition. This was the sixth of her 20 starts on the tour. Benny Chasten finished 16th carrying the race's only on-board camera for SPEED's telecast. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
