Lot of different pit strategies and it was a blast. Alex Bowman was pretty hyped up in post race inspection line, and to sum up all the Arca drivers and team owners, they're all a really great bunch of people. Wayne Peterson, who is the owner of one of my favorite teams in the series, even let me help push the car onto the trailer after the race. Also, talking and hearing from a lot of drivers, after the race, there was really great feedback on the track- from drivers such as Frank Kimmel, Tim Walter, and race winner Alex Bowman. ARCA, please come back to Madison in 2012. It was a great turnout for the fans, and the drivers love the classic rough-and-tumble of true short track racing. 3. potatosalad48 posted: 08.27.2011 - 3:08 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Alex Bowman wins in his 1st race and Ty Dillon fails to lead a lap. 4. I'm sure this is going to be a birthday he's going to remember for the rest of his life. 5. Chris Buescher joins Ty Dillon as the only 2 drivers so far this season with 10 top 5's; he doesn't have a win yet this year but has 5 runner-up finishes. Chris King won the pole in his ARCA debut; both he and Alex Bowman drove for Venturini Motorsports in this race. When Ty Dillon isn't winning, he's most often finished 4th; he has 7 wins and 3 4th place finishes this year to make up his 11 top 5's (1 runner-up finish). Tom Hessert III now has a 4 race top 5 streak going, after just 2 top 5's in the first 11 races of the season. Frank Kimmel picked up his series-leading 14th top 10 of the season, but STILL only has 2 top 5's. Sean Corr finished a career-best 7th, just his 2nd top 10 in 25 series starts. Former ARCA standout Joey Miller finishes 7th in his 1st series start since 2007. Tim George Jr. got his 1st stand-alone top 10 finish of the season (7 top 5's). Chad McCumbee follows up his win at Springfield with a 2nd straight top 10, but just his 3rd in the last 6 races. James Hylton finished in the top 20 for just the 4th time all season. 6.
