I listened to the last 80 laps on my computer and was impressed with the job they did. I normally don't listen to the radio type race calls as that drives me crazy. I have to see the race but since there was no way to see this one, I had no choice. 4. He has a win and 2 5th place finishes in 3 career ARCA starts on 3 different types of tracks. Simply impressive. 5. It caps off a great weekend for the Buescher's, as his cousin James took over the point lead in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Ty Dillon won his 7th pole of the season but settled for a 2nd place finish, his career-worst 3rd straight race without a victory. Will Vaught finished a career-best 3rd; he has 2 top 5's in 2 starts with Venturini Motorsports, 3 top 10's in 3 starts total this season. Kelly Kovski has finishes of 6th and 4th in 2 starts this year, both on the series' dirt races. Andrew Ranger finishes 5th in his dirt debut, his 3rd top 5 in 3 career ARCA starts (all in 2011). Frank Kimmel's 15 top 10's this season are his most since 2007 but his 2 top 5's would be his lowest total since 1996. Chad McCumbee picks up his 3rd straight top 10, which follows a stretch of only 1 top 10 in 4 races. Will Kimmel's only attempted to complete 3 races this year. Two of them were on the dirt tracks where he finished 4th at Springfield and 8th at DuQuoin. 7. USAR star Darren Hagen makes his stock car debut with zero previous experience in the heavy machines. Ran well but faded to 12th late. 9. They air only Pocono, Iowa, Kansas, etc.; and they avoid Berlin, Salem, and those tracks. For God's sake, those tracks that SPEED avoids are also some of the most amazing in motorsports. You have Berlin, the track that has NO WALL, and Duquoin, the horse track that produces some of the best racing, with guys sometimes coming from 30-somethin to contend for the win in 100 laps. Legendary facilities, no publicity. 10. Anonymous posted: 09.07.2011 - 10:34 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) #9 A few years ago, SPEED showed one of these small tracks but then they stopped altogether. I agree, I would love to watch the races that they don't air. 11. 00andJoe posted: 09.07.2011 - 9:12 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) SPEED isn't the SpeedVision or Speed Channel it used to be. Basically it's Fox's fully-owned subsidiary NASCAR channel now that just happens to show other stuff, sometimes. For cryin' out loud, the Knoxville Nationals were shown on almost a month's tape delay! 12. rm posted: 10.24.2019 - 3:30 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) 06 sponsor - Micro-Armor 11 sponsor - Rockingham Speedway 14 sponsor - Speed's Golf Cars/Tork 15 sponsor - Fuelvend.com 28 sponsor - Dan Shaver Memorial Scholarship 29 sponsor - Hixson Construction 32 sponsor - Champion Performance Products 34 sponsor - Fast Track/DBR 65 sponsor - Jesus/Dyno Tech 71 sponsor - David Pearson NASCAR HOF Tribute 82 sponsor - Roush-Yates Engines/Nu-South Lemonade 94 sponsor - Blanket Buddies 11 owner - Andy Hillenburg 14 owner - Andy Hillenburg 15 owner - Joe Cooksey 18 owner - Andy Hillenburg Yep, the 65's hood said ?JESUS? on it with 2-foot tall letter decals. Bonus points for the NAPA logo that had previously adorned the quarter panels changing from the official logo to a knockoff recreation of the logo. In a similar vein, the 94's sponsor was a charity website that promoted, and I quote directly from the decal: ?Covering Orphans with GOD's Love? 13.
