As expected Ty Dillon dominated the race but it was Bowman who took the lead late and prevailed. And again the Michigan-based Beard Oil team cannot buy a break, Clay Rogers ran well early but ends up sidelined just after halfway. The team had originally planned to enter two cars for this race but a testing incidient left their regular #42 on the sidelines. 2. 18fan posted: 10.08.2011 - 11:54 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) In his first race as the K&N East champion, Max Gresham comes out and wins the pole. 3. Bowman went from 6th to the win on the final restart, and didn't even need all 5 laps to get to the front. 5. 00andJoe posted: 10.08.2011 - 4:09 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Cautions: Lap 25-28, debris turn 3 ('Lucky Dog': #28) Lap 37-39, #95 spin turn 4 ('Lucky Dog': #63) Lap 52-54, #59 spin turn 4 ('Lucky Dog': #12) Lap 88-94, #95, 41 accident turn 4 ('Lucky Dog': #82) 6. 00andJoe posted: 10.08.2011 - 4:15 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) #17 sponsor: David Ragan Ford/Reliance Tool #15 sponsor: Coal: America's Energy #82 sponsor: United Way 7. Bowman's crew chief made a great call to take 4 tires under the last caution and he came storming to the front, including going to the outside to make it three wide in turn's 1 and 2 to move into second. By the time they got to turn 4, he had passed Buescher for the lead. 8. potatosalad48 posted: 10.09.2011 - 1:33 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) A very impressive run by Alex Bowman to come from what I counted as 9th to win in just 5 laps. Ty Dillon ran into a lapped car with 10 to go and finished 7th. 9. Chris Buescher finished in the top 2 for a 4th consecutive race, and now leads the season with 13 top 5's. Grant Enfinger got his 1st top 5 and just his 2nd top 10 in the last 5 races. K&N Pro East Series champ Max Gresham earned his 3rd career ARCA pole and 2nd in 7 starts this year. He finished 4th for his 2nd top 5 and 4th top 10 of 2011 (8.7 avg fin). Cale Gale picked up his 2nd top 5 in 3 ARCA starts this season for KHI. Matt Lofton got his first career top 10 finish in his 5th series start (4 in 2011). Ty Dillon will clinch the 2011 ARCA championship by starting the season finale at Toledo. Chad McCumbee finished in the top 10 for a 5th straight race. Frank Kimmel will finish 2011 with at least 17 top 10's to lead all drivers on the season. But only 3 top 5's is the reason why he'll now go 4 straight seasons without winning the title, following his 8 straight championships. Chad Hackenbracht hasn't finished better than 10th over the last 5 races. 10. That's gotta be some kind of record for retirement-age drivers in a non-legend/celebrity stock car race, right? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
