Also ARCA lowers the age requirements and 15 year old Erik Jones takes advantage 2. 10andJoe posted: 03.10.2012 - 8:06 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Second career win for Cale Gale in ARCA. I'm presuming Darrell Basham started-and-parked because of the tornado that destroyed his race shop last week. 3. Cale's teammate Milka Duno finishes as the second car 1 lap down in 18th. ARCA debut for one Chase Elliott. 4. One of Fast Track's crew members actually practice and qualified the car for Darrell since he had a really bad stomach bug Thursday and Friday. He didn't actually make it to the track until Saturday morning. He was a trooper. 5. dion posted: 03.11.2012 - 4:05 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) James Hylton is a little over 5 times older than Erik Jones. James is 76 or 77 and Erik is just 15. 6. dion posted: 03.11.2012 - 4:06 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Bubba pollard makes first race in 7 years I think it was 7. It has nothing to do with "excitement". It's just that SPEED is no longer a racing channel. It's followed the lead of ESPN and become an entertainment channel that, on occasion, shows NASCAR events. They don't even show the Knoxville Nationals live anymore...all their actual -racing- programming is begrudgingly squeezed in between "Car Warriors", "Pinks", and the other crap that the suits have decreed will rake in the adverti$ing dough. While those of us who remember what we -used- to be able to watch on Speedvision, TNN, and even ESPN (ARCA...ASA...WoO...live NHRA qualifying instead of having it tape delayed to FOUR IN THE MORNING...) weep. 9. Maybe if I'm bored, but I no longer watch practice/qualyifing like I used to. 14. 1995z71 posted: 05.15.2012 - 8:39 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) I saw Fox Soccer on Speed the other day. Great to see Mobile Speedway finally get a big race. Rick Crawford has been wokring hard at this. 15. Hessart had a backup, but Tyler didn't. So instead, Andy let Carter 2 Motorsports switch their #40 to the #10 this race for Daryl Eustace. Tyler still had to qualify it per ARCA rules, but that's how Daryl ended up in the #10 this race. 16. FS1 and FS2 show most of the racing (Qualifying, Practice, hometrack series) that speed had. Hopefully a new Motorsports channel comes out of this 18. 23andJoe posted: 05.03.2014 - 6:44 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) #1 crew chief: Jeff McClure 19. RaceFanX posted: 02.21.2019 - 9:08 am Rate this comment: (2) (0) All the comments about SPEED here take on a different spin given the channel's rebranding as the general sports channel Fox Sports 1 about 18 months later, ditching all of the general car programs like "Pass Time" and "R U Faster Than a Redneck?" but also losing most of its racing coverage in the process with more departing in future years; sports cars and motocross both jumped to NBCSN but FS1 paid the big bucks to poach the NHRA from ESPN and gives it much better coverage). 27. rm posted: 10.24.2019 - 4:31 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) 10 manufacturer - Dodge 23 owner - T.J. Surprised that it happened at Mobile, of all places? I sure am. The drivers: 1. Cale Gale (1 Truck) 3. Alex Bowman (2 Cup, 1 Xfinity) 6. Chris Buescher (1 Cup, 3 Xfinity) 10. Chase Elliott (6 Cup, 5 Xfinity, 2 Truck) 12. Ryan Reed (2 Xfinity) 13. Grant Enfinger (3 Truck) 15. Tyler Reddick (9 Xfinity, 3 Truck) 28. Spencer Gallagher (1 Xfinity) 29.
