He t-boned her early on and all 4 tires left the ground. Luckily she was ok. 2. Bowman pretty much dominated after he took the lead from Buescher, but the racing from second on back was awesome. Kimmel made a couple of late runs at Bowman but got held up in traffic. Caution #1: Teammates Nelson Canache and John Blankenship get hooked together going into 3. Canache hit the wall pretty hard with the right front. Caution #2: The Milka Duno crash that was mentioned earlier. She and Matt Lofton got together going into turn 1 and she backed in the wall, slid down the track and then got t-boned by Corr. Caution #3: Will Kimmel backs into the wall going into turn 1 after contact with Charles Evans Caution #4: Clint King and Tom Hessert get together in 2. Chad Hackenbracht, Chase Elliott, Brennan Poole, and Mikey Kile all got a piece of it. Hackenbracht was the only one with serious damage. Caution #5: Harmless spin by Austin Rettig in turn 2. Caution #6: Brandon Davis hits the wall hard in turn 1. Looked like a blown tire. Levi Youster also spun. As they did last year, Wayne Peterson and James Hylton parked their cars early, then went out and made laps under cautions only. I'm pretty sure Peterson finished the race though, because he's listed as running and his car appears in a picture I took of Bowman and Kimmel with about 3 laps to go. 5. Brennan Poole's the only driver with top 10's in each of the first 3 races of the season, and leads the standings. Chase Elliott's 10th in ARCA points despite only running 2 races, who picked up his best career finish in both K&N Pro East (2nd) and ARCA (4th, just his 2nd start though) on the same weekend. In fact he hasn't finished outside the top 10 yet in 2012 in 5 starts between ARCA and K&N. 7. CBASS posted: 05.01.2012 - 7:59 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Peterson finished, I was there as well. Davis actually slapped the wall coming off of turn 4, saved it, blew his tire into 1, hit the wall again in 2, and tried making it to the pits before his car finally gave up on in entering turn 3 lololol. In all, another really good short track race by these guys. 8. All 4 tires left the ground, and he went head on into the wall. 9. Five of the top 8 current Cup regulars and several possible stars among Alex Bowman, Chase Elliott, Erik Jones, Chris Buescher and Tyler Reddick. ARCA man Frank Kimmel still up at the top. Super old timers James Hylton, Darrell Basham and Wayne Peterson (who finished running!) Milka Duno in her odd ARCA run. Quite an interesting field. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
