Mike Affarano (making his 1st start) had a bad wreck, which he flipped 6 times. Joey Coulter who DNQ at Daytona wrecked early here at Talladega. Paul Menards pit crew worked the pits for Frank Kimmel. 2. This was McReynolds' first ARCA start since the race at Daytona. 5. Jake posted: 05.04.2012 - 10:53 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Alex Bowman launched off of Mike Harmon in the lap 11 Big One. 6. Well...maybe it wasn't that dramatic, but there was contact. 8. RaceFanX posted: 05.05.2012 - 9:14 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) As Larry Barford Jr. got into Kile and caused his wild spin / air time Brett Hudson got into John Ferrier and sent Ferrier's #76 into the outside wall. The camo-colored #76 Chevrolet went down the track backwards against the wall at a pretty good click for a moment but Ferrier was uninjured in the incident. Contact from behind by Zach Ralston is what triggered Affarano's big flip. James Hylton spun to miss Affarano's Ford as it rolled violently through the tri-oval. 11. The announcers talked about the car early then went to commerical. Naturally when the came back its front end was smashed in after Gerhart was collected in the Big One. 12. The way he handled himself on the track setting up that final pass, and his interview, as well as how he handled himself under the crushing disappointment of Daytona, he sure doesn't seem 21 does he? Granted I only have seen a very limited amount of him, but he seems to have a good head on his shoulders. I also want to give a shout out to SPEED. After that awful flip, they did not show any replays of it until after the driver hoisted himself out of the car. I like that. 15. martin-n-rusty posted: 05.05.2012 - 5:34 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) That roll was probably one of the sickest in stock cars in quite a while.
