Buescher also drove the No. 17 Roulo Brothers Racing Ford to a win in last year's season finale, and swept the ARCA Racing Series events at Toledo in 2010. The win was the sixth of his career and first in 2012." -newsla 3. joey2448 posted: 05.20.2012 - 11:22 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) I gotta say that ever since watching Buescher finish second to Bobby Gerhart at Daytona in February 2011, a race in which Buescher did nothing whatsoever to attempt to pass Gerhart in the final laps, I have little respect for him. Not saying that I hate him or wish him ill, but I just can't root for him. 4. Terry Jones was not to pleased with Mikey Kile after this one. Contact between the two led to Jones spinning and back of his yellow #30 Dodge being destroyed in a collision with the outside wall. Jones then deliberately banged into Kile under the following caution then said he didn't do more damage to the #1 Ford because owner Andy Belmont is a friend of his. Kile also spun on the backstretch in the opening laps before coming back to finish 6th. Darrell Basham said he had to start and park after discovering an engine issue earlier in the race weekend. 7. Gallagher said he had a top-10 car and was hoping for a top-5 but an early crash ended his day. 9. It could've happened... 12. NicoRosbergFan posted: 05.21.2012 - 6:41 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) No, Billy, because the outside line isn't able to pass even when you are 10-15 mph faster. 13. 10andJoe posted: 05.22.2012 - 3:37 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) Buescher had zero chance of passing Gerhart at Daytona. Period. 14. Jeff posted: 05.22.2012 - 9:02 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) Buescher was also in his first plate race ever, with that nice yellow tape on the bumper. If he pulls out, do you go with the rookie or the 8-time Daytona winner? Sure, it'd have been nice to see Chris try for the win, but given that he was chasing a title, a second place finish was probably a better way to gain respect from his competitors than if he'd wrecked and cleaned out the field. 15. Sad to see they just can't get the funding package together, because with funding, Will can contend. 16. Tough break, he seems to have a grip on the ARCA Cars already, but can't catch a break. 17. CBASS posted: 05.23.2012 - 4:10 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Sean Corr skipped because his team has been running without sponsorship, and he's still recovering from breaking a couple ribs after his nasty Salem crash with Milka. Just thought running a fast short track would be too much for his body, and didn't see spending the money to get there would be enough. 18. kup posted: 06.01.2012 - 1:15 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) UPS - universal points system. Belmont sold off his team and focused his time on running a family business after this race. This was their driver Mikey Kile's last ARCA race of 2012 and his last in the series to date. 24.
