It was my first time to Winchester and the race was great. It's a shame Speed doesn't cover these races. A lot of cars were getting flat right fronts. Hackenbracht, Kimmel, King, Reed, Poole, and Hessert all had a flat right front at some point in the race and some multiple times. It could have been caused by heat because it was in the 90s. Brennan Poole got beside Bowman a couple of times late in the race, but couldn't do anything with him. He had a flat right front on the last lap but still managed to finish 2nd. Cautions: 1: Chad Hackenbracht blew a right front and hit the wall in 1&2 and again in 3&4. He lost a lap fixing damage, but got it back with the lucky dog on the last caution. 2: Tom Hessert blew a right front for the second time in the race and hit the wall in turn 2. 3: Dale Shearer spun in turn 2. 4: Nelson Canache crashed on the frontstretch Landon Cling hit the wall pretty hard after the first yellow but didn't bring out a caution. Overall, great race. The battles for the lead between Bowman, Poole, Jones, and Buescher were fun to watch. 2. The race was pretty quiet as far as incidents go, but the Bowman / Poole battle for the lead was great. 6. Also a great top 10 finish for Spencer Gallagher in the #23, coming off another solid finish at Michigan. 8.
