JWT's second race of the weekend netted him his second top-5 as he finished third here after starting second to Larson. 6. DB1995 posted: 06.07.2014 - 10:06 pm Rate this comment: (2) (0) Townley actually started in the rear, and last time i looked he was in 17th a lap down so good recovery for 3rd 7. epzik8 posted: 06.07.2014 - 10:08 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) I wanted Mason Mitchell to win but good job for Kyle Larson. 8. Anonymous posted: 06.07.2014 - 10:33 pm Rate this comment: (0) (1) Mitchell passed Larson on a restart near the end, but I suspect Larson wasn't pushing hard, and that his crew may have let him go along with it to give him a challenge, rather than running alone out front. 9. CBASS posted: 06.07.2014 - 11:37 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) It's too much of a risk to do such a thing. Larson said in his interview that Mitchell's strength completely caught him off guard. 11. 23andJoe posted: 06.08.2014 - 12:54 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) To the rear: John Wes Townley (#15), driver change. 12. It was a Turner Scott car & effort, so I wouldn't call that Cup-prepared, but it is certainly great equipment to run in ARCA. 14. But this is probably just part of your weird vendetta against Larson, so whatever. 16. Watto posted: 06.08.2014 - 7:03 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) "Watto, but Turner-Scott has a cup car now. 51 Justin Allgaier" Harry Scott bought Phoenix Racing and it's now called HScott Motorsports. Turner has no part of it. They're separate programs. HScott Motorsports doesn't have anything to do with the 4 ARCA car that has run with Larson & Kwasnieski and others. 17. jensenators posted: 06.08.2014 - 8:54 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) This is one of the rare times that the finish was actually helped by a cup driver running in a lower series, as mason would have won the race by 10 seconds if larson wasn't entered. however it was a snoozefest until the final restart. 18. CBASS posted: 06.08.2014 - 11:10 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) And besides, HScott is based of South Carolina. The only "connection" there is the Harry Scott name and Allgaier driving. 19. Rexrobe posted: 06.08.2014 - 12:21 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) #12, ARCA awards bonus points based on five-race segments to encourage participation. The driver and team gain an extra 250 points (IIRC) for each five consecutive races they participate in (ARCA uses a points system similar to the old NASCAR system). So it's possible for a driver who races each race with poor results to be ahead of a competitive, irregular driver in the season championship. 20. Sorry about that, i didnt remember reading that "Ty Dillon won the championship in RCR cars, hope you were bitching then. But this is probably just part of your weird vendetta against Larson, so whatever." Ok, Yes i do not like Kyle Larson, no i do not have a vendetta against him, thats just silly talk. And i can't judge Ty DIllons ARCA success because i did not watch ARCA then. 22. Nascar Lead Lap Points posted: 06.12.2014 - 6:26 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Sponsor update #90 Motor Honey.
