Haley's second ARCA start sees him win the pole and finish 3rd to score both his first top-5 and top-10. 2. Jon is a Rusty Wallace Racing Experience employee. 4. Anonymous posted: 06.22.2014 - 11:08 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Enfinger put a beating on the field. If it weren't for Haney turning him around, he may have led flag to flag. 5. Greg in Largo posted: 06.22.2014 - 12:42 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Thanks fo CBSSN for showing the race. They will brodcast three more short tracks in the series. 6. DB1995 posted: 06.22.2014 - 1:02 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) I could have sworn i saw Josh Williams finish 5th? 7. Elko is so small, that if you make a mistake on pit road under caution, you may lose a lap. 8. rob posted: 06.22.2014 - 8:34 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) After some early glitches, the coverage was pretty good . 9. David posted: 06.22.2014 - 10:35 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) On ARCA's qualifying results, they do list a driver in the No. 97. Here's the link: http://www.arcaracing.com/events/1963878-elko-arca-250#results Jay Curry officially made an "attempt" in the car, even though they did not complete a lap on track. But they must have gone through inspection to be listed in the qualifying results, so they should be listed as a DNQ. 10. Grant Enfinger grabbed the early lead, but on lap four, got spun by lapped car Jon Haney. Looked like Haney just couldn't turn going into turn one, and Justin Boston also got spun around in the aftermath. Rob already mentioned it, but yes, CBS Sports channel suffered some early problems early in the broadcast, when the screen went completely black for about a half lap, then the scoring ticker at the top of the screen wouldn't work well. But they quickly got things figured out, and I thought the coverage was good! And I believe this was the first ARCA race for the network. It's amazing just how young some racers are nowadays. Polesitter J.J. Haley (I know, dangerously close to J.J. Yeley!) was born in 1999! Won't be long before we're in the 2000's! 12. Those sponsors were not on the car. 13. CBASS posted: 06.23.2014 - 11:37 am Rate this comment: (1) (0) The car was how it looked at Pocono: Orange door numbers with no sponsors whatsoever. Also David, Jay wasn't at the track. The 97 never left sight of the hauler. They didn't have a driver so I imagine they never bother putting it through tech. 14. 23andJoe posted: 06.23.2014 - 7:41 pm Rate this comment: (2) (0) Yeah, ARCA's Official Results are...notoriously sketchy, unfortunatly. (See my usual complaints about sometimes getting the number of cautions wrong.) 15. CBASS posted: 06.23.2014 - 11:06 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Was told today the 97 still had the blown engine from Michigan. And with the hole in the block, there wasn't going to be any "limping." It just sat in it's corner by the hauler all weekend. 16. Team co-owner Dana Royal (alias Dana Carter) is currently being sought by North Carolina law enforcement officials for parole violation. The reason she is on parole is because of her involvement in an RV rental scam, the same scam for which team owner Roger Carter is currently serving jail time for. I know ARCA is really hurting for cars but this teams makes the whole sport look bad and I wish they would sell to someone else or go away. 17.
