Chili Bowl winner Kevin Swindell makes his first ARCA start since 2012
and takes his Venturini Toyota to victory lane on the Illinois dirt.
It's his second ARCA victory and his first on dirt.

It doesn't look John Wes Townley had medical clearance, Travis Kvapil
drove his Truck series entry at M.I.S. the same weekend.

Two of the Peterson drivers were reversed by ARCA. Wayne Peterson
actually drove the 00 and Dale Matchett actually drove the 06.

Peterson and Matchett entered in the 06 and 00, respectively, but made a
driver swap AFTER the starting lineup was posted. The race results from
ARCA don't display that, but the practice sheets do. Also, for proof,
check out the ARCA photo website and go to the "pre-race" tab from
Springfield. Matchett is clearly by the 06 on the grid, while Peterson
can be seen waving from the 00.

Quick edit for the 3, sponsor should be "Race 101/ Performance Vehicle
Works"

I know the team name is Race 101, but Tony also runs a driving school
that he was promoting this race.

Should JWT ever be medically cleared to race? Congrats to Swindell for
doing something Townley could never do on a non-plate track, and that is
win!

Kevin Swindell's win here came in his final ARCA start. His driving
career ended in a violent flip at the Knoxville Nationals almost one
year to the day after this one but he has stayed involved with racing as
an owner during the time since. Swindell only ran 15 ARCA races in total
but had two wins, two poles, and six top-5s to show for his efforts.
